Our little piece of heaven.
We are Peter and Karen Breedon. After many visits to Canada and falling in love with the country, we knew we wanted to live here. After researching many different places in BC, we tripped upon Golden and Kicking Horse Country and knew we had found ‘the place’.
Originally from the UK, we finally moved here in 2007, to the beautiful Blaeberry Valley area of Golden and found our house and surrounding land. We parcelled off a section and set about building our vision, a wonderful vacation retreat.
After years of travelling on family holidays and business travels, we knew what was good and what was not when staying away from home, and set to include (or exclude) all of that when we formed Kicking Horse Kabins.
We really do ‘think we have thought of everything’. It was our intention to provide the best of the accommodation and luxury whilst still keeping our prices very realistic.
Life in Canada has been very kind to us, and feel we are lucky to live in such a beautiful location. Since building our initial Lodge, we have added to our accommodation by building our Kosy Kabin.
We have also added to our family with MJ our fluffy Bichon-Brussels terrier and Reggie, our Chihuahua-Terrier mix!
We have one daughter who lives in the UK with her husband Jonny and our grandson Frederick.
